Would you like to be able to walk or ride your bike to downtown Raleigh? Do you see the intersection of South Saunders and Chapanoke as a danger to vehicles and an area not to be approached on foot?

Lake Wheeler Road Corridor: I-40 to Tryon Road

Peach Road Community Center – 911 Ileagnes Road, Raleigh, NC
Plan to attend this design workshop to help determine a long-range vision for the Lake Wheeler Road corridor! This planning exercise will allow participants to envision, identify, and propose potential improvements to enhance the corridor’s capacity to adequately and safely accommodate pedestrians, bicyclists, and motorists. We had another good night of knitting this past Thursday! We had two new knitters who left with beginning scarves hanging from their needles!
Our group is growing. If you are unable to attend, please keep those knitting needles busy. Our delivery date for the scarves is our December 1st. meeting which is a ?eld trip to the Rescue Mission. Lynn and Sarah Daniell will give us a personal tour. Be sure to mark your calendars.
Our next meeting is Thursday November 3rd. We hope all of you will come. Please let me know if you plan to attend by Wednesday 2nd.
