Where did 2012 go? Already, it’s time for “Toys For ‘Lil’ Troops” and we need your help. For the NEW 2012 Homeowners: Toys For ‘Lil’ Troops is an annual holiday event at Renaissance Park that helps military families with one or both deployed parents by gifting toys to their children. In previous years we had helped families at Fort Bragg and Camp Lejeune, however, this year we’re adding Seymour Johnson in Goldsboro which increases our need for more toys.

The 2012 event on December 1st from 11am til 2 pm, promises to be bigger and better than ever with more entertainment, displays, food and prizes. Our goal is to provide a great holiday event at Renaissance Park, honor our military and make hundreds of children have a very merry Christmas.

What to Do:

  1. Enjoy your treat!
  2. Hang your WE’VE BEEN BOOED sign on your front door/front window where it can be seen!
  3. In the next day or so, make two copies of the poem with instructions, two WE’VE BEEN BOOED signs and assemble two treat bags.
  4. Secretly deliver your treats (to homes without a BOO sign) and then watch to see how far the BOOING goes in our neighborhood!

Download the sign and instructions here.
